Filming began May 5, 2014 and
took place in New York and all over Stockholm - the
inner city, the archipelago and the suburbs.
Creator/director Moresco told the
press: "I am very excited about filming in
Stockholm: the architecture, the light, the people
and the atmosphere. Then, of course, the idea of a
magnificently beautiful and safe city like Stockholm
harboring evil just below the surface, an evil that
is all encompassing, just seemed like it would
work."
Michael on his Role: "It's fun to
play Swedish again after six years in LA. The series
is quite a traditional cop series, but from a new
angle. It's more about relationships than who's the
killer." As to cultural crashes, he says, "It's a
big thing in the movie. We think we are alike but
are not and it is apparent how we dress, in the
codes and in police work."
